Hines also established an elaborate distribution network starting with sawmills, centralized distribution points and finally, retail outlets throughout Chicagoland. Among the company's specialty centers are millwork, cabinet, and window facilities. Other products include decking, dimensional and engineered lumber, exterior and interior doors, mantels, precision cedar siding, and floor and roof trusses. Edward Hines Lumber also offers building-related services, such as custom millwork and kitchen design. Edward Hines Factory Finished Cedar Siding provides finished cedar trim and siding to Chicagoland building sites. Founded in 1892, the company is owned by US LBM Holdings.
