Hire Heroes USA has been providing free employment services to transitioning U.S. military members, veterans and military spouses for more than 10 years, and we are the leading veteran service organization specifically targeting the issues of underemployment and unemployment among veterans. We do this by providing consistently effective, individualized career coaching services that include resume, networking and interview assistance, federal sector help, mock interviews, and job sourcing. We also align ourselves with employment partners - ranging from from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies - that are seeking veteran talent. Hire Heroes USA’s programs are funded exclusively by private grants and public donations. We earned Charity Navigator’s highest possible 4-Star rating for a third consecutive year in late 2017 and we have a GuideStar Platinum level. It was formed by MedAssets President and Chief Executive Officer John A. Bardis in 2005 to address his concern for the plight of unemployed veterans. Our mission is to empower military members, veterans, and spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce. Since 2007 we have confirmed more than 18,500 clients hired and generated an estimated $225 million economic impact to veterans, taxpayers, and local communities.
