Hixon Dance is a professional modern dance performing ensemble serving the artistic vision of Sarah Hixon. The company creates evocative and entertaining dance works of high artistic caliber. Hixon Dance is known for its collaborations with musicians and composers, and their concerts feature live music. The primary goal of Hixon Dance is to create and present works of fine art that touch and enrich the lives and experiences of audiences. Hixon Dance is active in the performing arts community through showcases, concerts, fund-raisers, festivals, and educational events. They have received funding on numerous occasions through The Greater Columbus Arts Council.
