Holistic options for animals
We have a passion and love of animals, and ongoing CPD ensures we keep up-to-date with information to maintain the quality of our services. Our ultimate goal is to bring back and increase the number of herbs and plants available to animals while supporting insects and wildlife; increasing biodiversity and positively affecting the microbiome. We also offer the following holistic services: Herbal Choice Consultation session - These sessions offer support for animals for a range of issues, including emotional and behavioural, as well as physical concerns such as inflammatory issues which could affect joints, stomach etc. Alternatively a range of detox or mineral rich products could be offered for selection if you feel your animal has no specific issues. Reiki session - Reiki is a form of energy healing that works holistically, and is a non-invasive therapy. This energy is transferred or transmitted to the animal through the hands of a practitioner, providing natural healing vibrations. This then flows to the area it is needed most; assisting the animal in its natural healing process by releasing emotional blocks and balancing energies. This in turn could promote relaxation which could have a positive impact on some behavioural issues. Aromatherapy session - Essential oils are supportive for a range of emotional, behavioural and physical issues. The olfactory system, or sense of smell, is linked to the limbic system of the brain which deals with, amongst other things, memory and emotions, and as such some odours may trigger an emotional response. Inhalation of supportive essential oils could release memories and thus restore balance and well being, as ultimately the emotional state affects the physical state. Forage walks - See our web page for upcoming dates for organised forage walks which identify plants that are available in your environment which could benefit your animals. We can also offer suggestions on ways these could be offered.
