In a letter to the BBB from Homeserve's, Michael Backus, Sr. vice President, "we offer a Water Service Line Protection Plan, homeowners pay a nominal fee of $4.99 a month to ensure that in the event of a water service line burst or break, they will be covered up to $3,000 per service call, which includes labor and materials. Two service calls can be made per year, for a total of $6,000 worth of coverage. Our contractors are licensed and preselected from your community to respond to these emergencies. They are paid directly by HomeServe, and the homeowner does not pay a deductible.
