From research and planning, industrial design, mechanical engineering, prototyping, production and compliance support, JMDA Design are a design company with a proven record of delivering a project right the way from concept to manufacture. With their second office in Shanghai, JMDA can assist clients wishing to enter the Chinese market with product and market compliance. In particular, and where applicable, CCC (China Compliance Certificate). The company have considerable knowledge and experience supporting clients in China in the many aspects of product design, production processes, planning and project management. Testimony to the contribution JMDA have made to the child restraint system industry over the last 30 years, they are proud to be members of CLEPA. JMDA joined the organisation as the only European designers, bringing with them a thorough understanding of complex safety challenges and child restraint system regulations which can be used to help drive smart growth and define the future of road safety. In addition to being members of CLEPA, JMDA are members of the SMMT and demonstrate their commitment to working in synergy with global car seat manufacturers. Besides offering technical advice with regards to child restraint systems, being a member of SMMT allows JMDA to receive data sets and reports which can be used to support contextual studies and develop tailored strategies for the design of child car seats.
