A retired police sergeant for Halton region, Larry Pattinson, President of J.P. Motors, had a vision to build, run and grow a successful business for himself and his family. Through exceptional guidance and management tactics acquired during his tenure with the police force, Larry learned the values of Integrity, Honesty, Fairness and Community Involvement. These traits have given Larry the much-deserved recognition he has garnered in the community. Larry shared his dream with his wife and three children, Jason, Ryan and Krista. Intrigued by his enthusiasm and drive they began the blueprint for this family adventure, which in 1984 finally led them to launch Larry's dream into reality. Thus, J.P. Motors was born! The first obstacle was the task of naming the business. After days of contemplating name after name, they finally concluded that since it was a family business they should focus their efforts on somehow incorporating the family name in the business. To this end, in honour of his wife June Pattinson with her love and support, they finally decided to title the business in her name. Now, 32 years later through much dedication, determination and hard work, J.P. Motors has catapulted into being the largest independent car dealership in Halton region and the 2nd largest in Ontario. Today's consumer is more demanding than ever and the information at people's fingertips is vast. J.P. Customer Service and Selection With 21 showroom staff, customers are promptly and courteously greeted and shown the ease of how no haggle pricing truly works. The model year, price and KMs are also clearly displayed on the windshield of every vehicle in our inventory, which assists in the ease of browsing even after hours. The vehicles at the showroom location are also all unlocked so the customer can easily enter and browse with ease and comfort. One stop shopping has become a growing phenomenon and with over 600 vehicles in our inventory, we inevitably have something to appeal to the most discerning buyer. Additionally, our Truck, SUV & Van centre, located only 2 KM east of the main showroom location toward Walkers Line where "Harveys" once inhabited, houses up to 250 of the vehicles on any given day. The Business Offices at J.P. Motors also offer consumers the ability to take advantage of preferred bank rates and finance options for all walks of life in a professional, informative, comfortable atmosphere. The service department is comprised of two Service Advisors with a strong compliment of mechanics and technicians utilizing multiple service and wash bays for preparing vehicles for customer pick-up. Because of these core values, JP Motors has become and will continue to be a leading example in the industry.
