Our company was founded in 1961 when John Buchan built his first spec home on Mercer Island. His wife Gloria handled the accounting and the interior design selections. Together they created a winning combination, offering homes that were not only beautiful, but also comfortable and inviting. Over the years, our company grew and built thousands of homes throughout the Puget Sound region, with an emphasis on Bellevue and the Greater Eastside. In 2008, John and Gloria Buchan saw their daughter Heather and son-in-law Kevin Dosch were ready to take over the reins of the family business. With full confidence, they retired and now enjoy watching Heather and Kevin’s dedication to the Buchan legacy, as they build on the founding commitment of offering clients their best and building remarkable homes.
