Jugaaddict is the discovery of frugal innovations in agriculture and in food through the eyes of three young engineers in Life Sciences. By travelling ten months (December 2015 – September 2016) in Asia and Africa, we will meet local and innovative entrepreneurs who tackle the food challenge and share a positive face of the regions crossed. Because of an adverse environment, these stakeholders have become master at developing Jugaad innovations, i.e « designing ingenious solutions with scarce resources » We will work in partnership with these entrepreneurs in order to help them to develop and scale-up their innovations and business models. With their ideas and our common work, new models will emerge, which could change the world by allowing everyone to have access to an healthy, safe and sufficient food.
