Camp and adult use facility located on the Loup River near Burwell Nebraska. The camp facilities are owned by the non-profit corporation, Kaleo On The River. In addition to overseeing the operation of the camp, KOTR’s mission is to create opportunities for new and varied uses of the facilities, as well as secure funding that will enable necessary upgrading and construction. Kamp Kaleo is a nature-filled oasis of quiet and serenity located in central Nebraska on the southeastern edge of the beautiful Sandhills region. The camp sits right on the banks of the scenic North Loup River, just outside of Burwell, home of Nebraska’s largest rodeo (on Nebraska Highway 11, a designated Scenic Byway). In addition to summer church camps, Kamp Kaleo is also a wonderful place to hold your church, corporate board of directors, civic or any other type of retreat.
