Recipients of numerous prestigious awards including, the Golden Thimble known as Le de d'or, the top accolade for Haute Couture; the Swarovski Creation prize 2005; and the Designer of the year award, Miami 2007; Lecoanet Hemant's work is in the permanent collection at London's Victoria and Albert Museum; Deutsches Museum, Berlin; and the Musée des Arts de la Mode, Paris. Lecoanet Hemant opened first shop is Paris’s Faubourg Saint Honore, and are now based in Delhi. Under Lecoanet Hemant, we have the following brands running: 1. Genes Lecoanet Hemant is the ready-to wear Brand of Lecoanet Hemant: thought and engineered entirely in India for India, it is a lifestyle collection of garments and accessories for the young at heart and happy to be International Indian. It is a modern alternative to contemporary dressing in India. GENES Lecoanet Hemant offers affordable luxury and inspires them to achieve cultural individuality in a globalized world. 2. Ayurganic is a stay at home collection produced by Lecoanet Hemant exclusively using GOTS certified cotton and is hand treated following the century old Ayurvedic recipes. The garments or Ayurvastra (Ayur and vastra meaning health and cloth respectively in Sanskrit) have been permeated with special herbs and oils making it free of synthetic chemicals and toxic irritants. Wearing these garments helps restore balance within the body and strengthens the immune system.
