Leeann Chin operates more than 30 quick-casual Chinese food restaurants in the Minneapolis area under the names Leeann Chin and Chin's Asia Fresh. The restaurants offer a variety of stir-fried combination plates, salads, noodles, and appetizers. It also operates to-go kiosks at a handful of Rainbow Foods grocery stores. Founder Leeann Chin, who wrote Betty Crocker's Chinese Cookbook, opened her first restaurant in 1980. The company was acquired in 2007 by financier Lorne Goldberg through his Los Angeles-based Mandarin Holdings, which operates the Mandarin Express chain.
