L'attività di programmazione viene presto affiancata dalla vendita dell'hardware, per poter fornire un servizio complementare al cliente. Con l'obbiettivo di voler fornire un servizio sempre più completo e professionale al cliente,nel 1996 viene fondata Smartcom Srl, e i primi portali internet nella città di Lecco,come Point Of Presence del provider I.Net sul territorio. Nel 2000 l'attività di Internet Provider viene ceduta, per far spazio ai servizi a valore aggiunto che la diffusione di Internet imponeva di affrontare. L'utilizzo dei droni per rilievi in campo ambientale è recente, ma ha conosciuto un rapidissimo sviluppo superando i tradizionali metodi di indagine grazie alla versatilità dello strumento, alla non invasività del metodo, alla replicabilità delle procedure, alla sicurezza delle operazioni che possono essere svolte anche in aree non agevolmente raggiungibili. Nel nostro caso il drone è inteso come cavalletto per trasportare sensori con diverse caratteristiche in base al tipo di applicazione per poter raggiungere luoghi difficilmente accessibili in totale sicurezza e con rapidità. I settori dove abbiamo già una comprovata competenza sono molti: si va dalla valutazione energetico-strutturale con sensore termografico in edilizia, alle ispezioni di infrastrutture, viadotti, dighe, impianti e linee elettriche, alle riprese artistiche per la valorizzazione dei beni culturali e paesaggistici, all’aerofotogrammetria per la realizzazione di modelli 3D. Il team è interdisciplinare e possiede licenze di pilotaggio anche in aree critiche e in quota. Questo ci consente di applicarci in campi diversi. Ci avvaliamo inoltre di professionisti e collaboratori esterni che integrano, con ulteriori competenze, l’offerta del team.
