Founded in 1926, Little Ship Club brought together yachtsmen and women working in the City who wanted to meet and exchange ideas during the long winter months. It became renowned for its classes in navigation and seamanship, and in 1937 the Club was awarded the privilege for its members to wear the defaced Blue Ensign for its contribution to training the RNVSR. Today, members from all over the world meet in the Club which is located on the north bank of the Thames by Southwark Bridge. LSC highlights: • A full and varied sailing calendar, including both domestic and international rallies, complemented by a Skippers and Crews register and Little Ship Club representatives across the world who are happy to welcome members into their particular port. • Fantastic lunchtime dining facilities overlooking the Thames, Monday to Friday; serving a daily two-course club lunch or a la carte. Members are welcome to bring guests. • A variety of function rooms, including a private dining room, a fully equipped conference room and a small meeting room. For large events the entire Club is available for hire and working in conjunction with our in-house caterers we can offer a first class facility for business or social events including Weddings and Civil Partnerships, for which we are licensed. • Overnight accommodation in our cabins equipped with shower and hand basin at competitive rates. • A wealth of RYA shore-based training courses from basic through to advanced.
