O ano de 1965 marcou o início da história da Lojas Renner S.A. como uma empresa independente do grupo A. J. Renner. Dois anos depois, ela abriu seu capital e, em 2005, tornou-se a primeira corporação brasileira com 100% das ações negociadas na Bovespa, listada no Novo Mercado, mais alto grau de governança corporativa. Hoje a Lojas Renner S.A. conta com mais de 350 operações, entre lojas da Renner, da Camicado e da YouCom, totalizando aproximadamente 17 mil colaboradores. Após décadas de bom desempenho no formato de lojas de departamentos com amplo mix de produtos (utensílios domésticos, móveis e vestuário), a Renner passou por uma profunda reestruturação e, no início dos anos 90, começou a operar no formato de loja especializada em moda, com roupas, calçados, acessórios e cosméticos. Em 2002, mais um importante passo foi dado na evolução da Renner. As coleções passaram a ser desenvolvidas a partir de cinco estilos de vida, refletindo um jeito de ser e de vestir, com base em atitudes, interesses, valores, personalidades e hábitos dos clientes. Assim nasceu o slogan “Você tem seu estilo. A Renner tem todos.” A Renner também já está presente em todos os estados brasileiros e inaugurou sua primeira operação fora do Brasil, em Montevidéu (Uruguai), levando a sua sólida cultura que preza pelo encantamento através dos seus colaboradores.
