What is now MAP Services Corp. began as an ecommerce seller in the early 90’s, well before Minimum Advertised Pricing policies existed. In 2003 brands began to come to us with MAP policies. We were happy to comply. We were the good guys after all, with offices and a full time customer service department. We hoped MAP would lead to greater margins. Unfortunately that is not what happened. Our sales stopped for all brands with MAP policies. The sales went to the persistent MAP violators instead of us. We contacted the brands and asked them for help but they did not have the tools to fix the problem. One day in a fit of anger and frustration David wrote a program to search for MAP violators and sent a list to one of the brands in order to show them what we were dealing with. They were excited to see the list and became our first client! With many years of revisions and thousands of programming hours invested, the sophistication of our software is the best there is. As powersport enthusiasts ourselves we love our job!
