There are many digital marketing agencies out there. They are selling mobile apps, Facebook likes and web traffic, capitalizing the general excitement companies have around the digital era. But companies are viewing digital technology as a hobby, they have forgotten that technology shouldn’t be an island: It should be their biggest weapon to grow, to be more efficient, to better satisfy their clients and to beat their competitors. So Mambo is not a digital marketing agency: we don’t sell likes, we don’t sell campaigns. We sell results, we sell transformation and we are trying to give technology the place it deserves within companies. Of course, we build apps, eCommerce and social media solutions, but those are just our tools to make a meaningful impact. We are trying to transform the way companies work, communicate, sell, attract and retain talent and clients, perform customer service so our clients must measure our service on impact, not on likes, visits or downloads. Many times a company will come to us and say they want an app but when we ask why and dig deeper, perhaps they didn’t need an app in the first place and we turn down the opportunity. In the short term it may look like we are sacrificing revenue but this way we remain loyal to our value proposition and earn our client’s trust and respect. P&G, Scotiabank, Movistar, 3M and Sura are amongst our transformation partners in Latin America.
