About Us Formerly Hampton Antiques, Mark Goodger Antiques was born in November 1998, created by Mark Goodger following his redundancy from a well-respected antique restorer & dealer. Our first sale was on a very cold, dark Saturday morning in the winter of 1998, from a tiny stall on the famous Portobello Road in London. We no longer sell there but we have many happy memories of Portobello and some very interesting stories to tell! As our business has grown, we now concentrate on selling our wares online and at the UK’s major antiques fairs.
