As the only recreation facility of its kind in Halifax, Maskwa Aquatic Club is your destination for sporting excellence and family fun on the water. Founded in 1974, Maskwa Aquatic Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing paddling, swimming and outdoor recreational fun to the community. We combine high-performance training with recreational programs aimed at developing young athletes. Located on beautiful Kearney Lake, Maskwa is proud of its state-of-the-art clubhouse and boathouse located on a 41-acre wooded property at the end of Saskatoon Drive. With a wide range of programs and activities for all ages, Maskwa offers paddling and swimming programs throughout the year, as well as facilities and beach passes for those looking for a summer of fun and relaxation.
