MediMushrooms International Ltd was started in 2004 by Dr. Alla Kiroshka, a former Facial Reconstructive Surgeon. It was originally known as MediMushrooms Ltd. Dr. Alla has developed her own line of medicinal mushrooms supplements, Dr. Alla's MediMusrooms. These include Cordyceps, Lion's Mane, Maitake, Reishi, and Shiitake. When Dr. Alla emigrated to New Zealand in 2007, the business was registered as MediMushrooms Centre. She opened up the Organic Health Centre in Christchurch as a base for health consultations and distribution of Dr. Alla's Medimushrooms. A second line of health supplements, Dr Alla's Simplicity range, was added to the products distribute via MediMushrooms. Later, the business was registered as MediMushrooms International Ltd.
