Family owned and operated by the Brandolini family from 1973-2015. In 2015 Modern was purchased by the Shaker Auto Group. A family owned and operated auto retail group with several stores in CT and MA. Modern sells new Mazda vehicles as well as a large selection of hand picked pre-owned vehicles. We are conveniently located in Thomaston, Connecticut, just 5 minutes North of Waterbury and 8 minutes South of Torrington. Exit 38 off Route 8 is our front door.
