NADA is an international partnership practicing design, development, and cultural analysis based in up and coming Harlem. NADA's global projects rethink design and apply cost saving solutions to deliver a minimalist aesthetic to the masses. NADA is led by three partners - Ignacio Alonso, Jay Solomon, Jason Paul - and sustains an international practice in collaboration with Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados in Barcelona and Santiago. NADA recently completed projects include Aire Ancient Bathes in TriBeCa (2012), 70+ apartment renovations in Harlem (2013), Bond Street Residence in NoHo (2012), and Washington Street Residence in TriBeCa (2012). Projects currently underway include 20+ apartment renovations in Brooklyn (est 2013), Historical Condo Project in Park Slope (est 2014), Modern Rental Building in Harlem (est 2014), 4+ Coffee Shops (est 2014). The work of Ignacio Alonso and Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados has won several international awards including the Stirling Prize in 2010 for the Protos Winery (Spain), exhibition at the Venice Biennale in 2008 for the Barcelona Bullfighting Ring (Spain), and the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympic Village first prize in 2012 (Brazil). Ignacio Alonso's work has been exhibited at the London Design Museum (UK) and the Pompidou Centre (France).
