The National Model Aviation Museum is the history arm of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and houses its comprehensive aeromodeling collection, with over twelve thousand artifacts. The five person staff is responsible for an array of duties, including archives, collections management, curation, education, and media production. The Academy of Model Aeronautics, Inc. (AMA) operates as a non-profit organization. The Organization offers development of model aviation as a recognized sport and worthwhile recreation activity. AMA serves communities in the United States.
