Neuro Alliance is a multidisciplinary practice providing a range of services to people with a neurological diagnosis who have mild to highly complex therapy needs. Neuro Alliance has a team of Physiotherapists, A Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist and a Neuromuscular Orthotist. We also have a network of other allied health professionals including Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists who we work collaboratively with on all cases. Neuro Alliance has a strong presence in the community servicing a wide geographical area. Our skills are utilised as far west as Tamworth, as far north as Port Macquarie, as far south as the Central Coast and everywhere in between. Neuro Alliance will complete construction of it state of the art Neurorehabilitation Facility in 2020. The centre will be strategically located at the end of the M1, at the Thornton interchange. This is central for everyone travelling from around the Hunter and beyond. Next door to our Centre will be an 88 bed hotel with disability accessible rooms for people requiring extended intervention periods from out of area. Key features of the centre will include: • A 2200m2 block with 36 level, accessible car parks; • A fully dry drop-off and pick up zone; • A state of the art rehabilitation gym with equipment that will allow delivery of more complex rehabilitation; • A state of the art hydrotherapy pool; • A manufacturing room for custom orthoses; • A medical intervention room with Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine services offered; and • A separate complex wheelchair and seating showroom with private fitting rooms for other therapists to utilise. As the centre commences construction progress drone footage will be released. Upon completion of the centre, Neuro Alliance will offer centre based services as well as community-based services. We will continue to work collaboratively with a range of organisations and will continue to value their input.
