Founded in 2004 by Dr. Robert Izor, Neurology Solutions Movement Disorders Center is conveniently located on the campus of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center. Neurology Solutions was the first subspecialty movement disorder clinic in Central Texas offering a comprehensive continuum of care including innovative drug therapies, nutrition counseling, physical therapy, cognitive and speech evaluation, pain and spasticity control, sleep evaluation and surgical management for an improved quality of life. With a focus on restoring control and improving balance for patients with a variety of neuromuscular conditions, Neurology Solutions provides its patients with highly specialized and individualized care in a comfortable and accessible clinical setting. The Neurology Solutions’ team approach improves the quality of care by involving all experts at hand in deciding on the best treatment option in a dedicated and compassionate environment. The team provides one-on-one attention to patients and their families to develop therapies that support the physical, mental and emotional health of patients and motivate everyone involved towards success. In addition, Neurology Solutions has the support of a licensed therapist available to aid in positive coping skills, manage stress, communicate more effectively and strengthen relationships. Dr. Izor is a board-certified neurologist and the only fellowship-trained motor disorder specialist in Austin. He has extensive knowledge and experience with the use of advanced treatments for neurological conditions, including Stereotactic Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Intrathecal Baclofen Pump Therapy (ITB) and BOTOX® therapy. Neurology Solutions’ established an on-site physical therapy center, Austin Renewal Therapy (ART), in 2009 that provides therapy treatments for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological motor disorders.
