Sport. Nature. Education. These are the three values on which the project is based. Outdoor Portofino is a company that promotes sport, active tourism and environmental education activities related to the Marine Protected Area and Park of Portofino and other natural and cultural heritage areas of Liguria. The project is driven by a sustainability perspective, with special attention to the enhancement of the traditional activities, of the local cultures, of eco-tourism and the fruition of socially sensitive categories. MISSION Our mission is to raise people’s awareness to an active, conscious and sustainable lifestyle in nature, and make sure that everyone can get to this result. Outdoor Portofino welcomes any kind of sportsmen: tourist, passionate or beginner. Our goal is to make sports accessible to everyone and spread a culture of environmental respect and knowledge of nature and of the surrounding area. We want to give our contribution in safeguarding the planet, reducing environmental impact, and educating people to an increasingly “outdoor” lifestyle. TEAM Outdoor Portofino started in 2013 by the idea of the four founding members with the goal to spread their passion for nature, sport and the surrounding territory, bringing into play their skills and focusing on continuous training. Born and raised in the Park of Portofino, the four members since childhood are approached individually by their families to an active lifestyle and in contact with nature. Many are the occasions during when the founding members meet at sea during a kayak trip or on the paths of the Park, while spending time with their own families. Therefore, a destiny that already had its traces in their first years of life. The greatest strength is being a close-knit group of friends, and secondly colleagues. This project was an innovation on the territory: an element that has allowed us to be welcomed and supported by the local authorities, creating a synergy in continuous development.
