Oxyfi is a leading provider of mobile wireless solutions in the public transportation sector. We connect vehicles (i.e. rolling stock and buses) to internet using one or several simultaneous mobile data carriers. Typically we also equip our customer's vehicles with a managed LAN, both wired and wireless. This 24/7 monitored communications architecture is typically shared across systems and vendors on-board. We call this product area Internet On-board (IOB). Oxyfi also offers a set of software modules to effectively manage passengers who want to connect their laptop or phone to internet while traveling. Oxyfi is the pioneer to package, measure, control and visualize internet access on a per passenger basis. We have used this model commercially since 2006, longer than any other in the industry. Included in the solution is a captive web portal with GPS-controlled map as well as any type of content, for example real-time passenger traffic information. In our solution the traveller can purchase additional internet capacity online if needed. We call this product area for Controlled Wifi Access. Our solutions meet international standards such as E-mark certification, EN 50155 and EN 45545. We retrofit systems as well as fitting them in train factory facilities. The company has been awarded the highest possible credit rating AAA, from the well-known credit rating system Soliditet. Our team consists of specialists within data communication and design of open software solutions. We deliver turn-key projects to PTAs, fleet owners, vehicle manufactories and operators. A customer project typically includes set-up/configuration of our software platform, electrical and mechanical vehicle integration, mechanical fitting constructions, installation, external roof antenna systems, commissioning tests, go-2-market assistance and daily operational services of the IOB-platform.
