Just above Rishikesh Phool Chatti Ashram is a little slice of paradise! Located on the banks of the Ganga River (Ganges) in the Himalayan foothills we are surrounded by mountain forests hiking trails swimming beaches and nature in abundance. The Hem River also joins the Ganga at our doorstep so we are twice lucky!Once an ancient pilgrimage route the site was thought to be ideal to provide rest for spiritual travelers. In the late 1800s Phool Chatti Ashram was founded by the spiritually awakened sadhu Sri Devi Dayal ji Maharaj to serve his fellow sadhus and other pilgrims venturing into sacred territory.
