Rec Room is disrupting the athleisure market and creating a new approach to performance lifestyle apparel. Each piece is simple: a throw-on-and go dress or separates made of the highest quality Italian performance fabric, in essential styles that match the rest of your closet. Rec Room is designed to be worn all day from couch to work to picnic and everywhere in between. Rec Room was cofounded in 2019 by Val Young & Dre Taylor Lindsay. After living in traditional athleisure for years while traveling and on the go and always finding themselves under- or inappropriately dressed, founders Val and Dre made it their mission to build something better. They have experience in consumer goods & tech and both advised leading retail & apparel companies as management consultants with The Boston Consulting Group.
