Reedwood Friends is a Christ-centered Quaker community of ministers. We are a worshipping community in southeast Portland, serving Christ and one another in the evangelical Friends tradition. Reedwood Friends is a member community of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends, a body of Quakers from Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Reedwood was founded in 1893 as Portland Monthly Meeting, eventually became First Friends Portland, and finally identified as Reedwood Friends in moving to the Reed Neighborhood in 1970.
