Established in 2009, Samarkand has developed into a healthy, profitable and robust company. The name is derived from a poem called ‘The Golden Journey to Samarkand’ by James Elroy Flecker. The poem describes the restless questioning nature of mankind and our need to find answers. In the poem the pilgrims promise, ‘We shall go always a little further’. This is a key tenet of our company. We will always go that little further. Our value driven approach has seen the company advance quickly into a highly regarded, solution focused company. We work for our clients around the world. We are experienced in operating in regulated environments with government oversight. Samarkand knowledge of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) has ensured successful outcomes for our clients. We have strong relationships with the entire stakeholder community (Government Departments, Regulatory Authorities and other agencies).
