Second Chance is a San Diego nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people change their lives. Second Chance helps men, women and youth move from poverty to self-sufficiency by providing job readiness training, job placement assistance, case management, mental health services, financial literacy and affordable housing. We help break the cycle of drugs, homelessness, and incarceration. Our Mission: To disrupt the cycles of incarceration and poverty by helping people find their way to self-sufficiency. Second Chance carries out its mission by providing workforce readiness training and job placement programs to youth and adults.
