Inspired by their father working on the Cotton Mills in India, the Sohal Brothers followed in his footsteps sharing a passion for the Textile and Manufacturing industry. Born in the forests of Nottingham, in 1974 Sherwood Forest was founded, after realising there was a gap for success in the Outdoor market for unique design and functionality in Country, Hunting and Equestrian clothing. Today it is still a family run business along with a small and friendly team, designs are created ‘In-House’ with a high standard quality control process ensuring every product is fit for purpose. Customer needs are at the forefront of the business, with a bespoke service available providing the opportunity to work closely with the design team on exclusive garments, sourcing the best performance fabrics and materials internationally. This year Sherwood Forest aims to develop beyond their traditional style, catering to the modern-day consumer reworking products and introducing new lifestyle pieces infused with their brand heritage. This expansion has already begun from two exciting partnerships with brands Lorpen Socks and HAD Headwear, with expectation to acquire more brands in the near future.
