Squashed Robot Films is a fresh, creative video production company with over 15 years of experience. We create film and video campaigns for a wide range of clients. We are passionate about making films which fulfil a purpose. We don’t create generic content which has little or no impact which sits, unwatched on an obscure server. Our films generate exposure, interest and a quantifiable response. We approach everything we do with an inquisitive attitude, we want to find out who you are and what you’re trying to say, we then work with you to develop production plans, scripts and concepts that speak directly to your target audience. Video is not inert - naturally it inspires a greater emotional response than any other media (just think about how the last movie you watched made you feel). We capitalise on that to deliver unique, functional and cinematic content. Founded in 2016 by Lisa Cullis and Lex Beckett who between them have over 15 years of experience in broadcast, film, documentary and commercials. Squashed Robot strives to bring the high level concepts and approaches of these mainstream media to brands of all sizes. Prior to forming Squashed Robot Films Lex & Lisa co-produced their first independent feature film, The Drowning of Arthur Braxton. We have also worked around the world on documentary and TV projects and more recently have become trustees for the amazing West Africa based charity The Mojo Foundation.
