Overview
Steph Rubbo Saddlery and Leather Work makes bespoke leather goods, accessories and equestrian. I also undertake all types of leather repairs using traditional saddlery techniques. I trained at Capel Manor College where I completed modules in bridle work, saddlery, harness, and lorinery and leather accessories, and further completed my training being recognised as a Qualified Saddler by the Society of Master Saddlers. I make bespoke hand stitched leather items using traditional saddlery techniques and hand tools. My greatest pleasure comes from working with a client to design a bespoke item item that is not only beautiful, but also functional and meets their requirements. I am able to design and make many leather accessories and my range of items includes card cases, luggage tags, belts, satchels, evening bags, messenger bags, passport wallets, dog leads and collars, watch straps and I utilise off cuts to make smaller items like doorstops and coffee cup sleeves.
