The historic Strand Center for the Arts is operated by the non-profit 501(c)3 Strand Ventures, Inc. and is Ocean County's premiere entertainment venue. The Strand opened its doors in 1922 and its landmarked interior shines as bright today as it did then. Located in historic downtown Lakewood, NJ, The Strand Theatre is easily accessible and offers a variety of national acts, concerts, music, dance, theatre, comedy and arts education to all of New Jersey and the surrounding region!
