Summer at Sem is proud to offer a multitude of programs at Wyoming Seminary, located in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Our Creative Arts programs include offerings in Music Festival (Instrumental Music and Vocal Performance), Theater, Dance (ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, jazz, etc.), and Visual Arts (filmmaking and glassblowing). We also offer a Junior Arts program for younger students interested in exploring the arts. These programs offer classes to study the history and craft of their discipline as well as an abundance of performance time in the form of concerts and recitals. We bring expert guest artists to each program so our students can study from working professionals in their fields. Our English Language Institute brings international students to campus from all over the world. This academic immersion program offers elective courses in American Culture or STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). This program also travels to cities like New York City and Philadelphia to learn about the history of the United States. An optional 7-day travel session at the conclusion of ELI offers visits to some of the top American colleges and universities on the east coast, as well as other fun and exciting adventures. Summer Explorations, our lower school programs, offer week-long workshops for youngsters ages Pre K through grade 8. These workshops focus on age-appropriate activities ranging from sports to science experiments to creative writing and more. Our Middle School STEM program is a week-long offering that takes students on an adventure of scientific learning.
