Syncrude is one of the largest operators in Canada’s oil sands industry with a 50-year history of responsible operations and ongoing innovation. Located in the Athabasca Oil Sands, the Project is the #1 single source of oil in Canada, producing 350,000 barrels per day. The Syncrude Project is a joint venture operated by Syncrude Canada and owned by a group of oil and gas entities, including Imperial Oil and Suncor Energy .
