The Artist in Me is a soon to be nonprofit organization, whose mission is not only provide arts education to low income families; in the form of visual, performing and literary arts. We will also provide the youths and adults job skills in the form of graphic arts and illustration. Provide them the means and access to get certified. These skills will provide them a way out of poverty, improve our local rural economy; reduce crime rates and encourage them to further their education. By providing mentors from the community, they will learn civic responsibilty by volunteering in the community. They will learn leadership skills within groups at The Artist in Me.
