Founded in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation is a non-profit ministry serving children and families. We have provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. Today, The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. Our programs are child-centered, family-focused, strength-based and culturally competent which are making a significant and positive impact on the children and families we serve. We strive to touch lives and create a better future. The Bair Foundation Child & Family Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization and is a member of the Christian Alliance for Orphans and the Council on Accrediation COA. Bair Foundation of Texas operates as a non-profit organization. The Organization provides foster care, adoption, kinship, family, behavioral health, and independent living services. Bair Foundation operates in the State of Texas. Founded in Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation Child & Family Ministries has provided quality care and services to children, youth and families through a myriad of effective programs that meet identified needs.Although foster care is our primary program, our mission is to restore and strengthen the family through a number of community-based services. Through Traditional and Therapeutic Foster Care and Kinship Care, children and teens are able to live in a safe, loving and stable home. Through Adoption, Legal Guardianship or Reunification, children can move toward permanency. Bair offers services such as Intensive In-Home Services, Outpatient Services, and a Multi-Systemic treatment approach to stabilize children in the home setting and decrease the risk of placement outside of the home.
