The Drawbridge is an independent quarterly of thought, wit and reflection giving equal focus to literature and visual arts. With each issue, authors and artists cast an unflinching look at a timely theme. The combination of ideas and insights brings you the best photography, artwork and writing, including classic fiction, new essays and short stories, many of which are published in English for the first time. The Drawbridge originated as a full-colour newspaper, and is now available as a quarterly app for iPad. Additional versions for Kindle Fire, Android tablets and smartphones are in development.
