The Fruit Company specializes in premium gourmet gifts, but we are not any ordinary gifting company which is why we have been featured as one of Oprah's favorite things in her "O" Magazine Gift Guide, and highlighted by media influencer Robyn Spizman. One of the main things that set us apart from competitors is that we use ONLY premium grade fruit, and even that is sorted three times before it makes the cut to our gifts. Furthermore, our Complimentary Corporate Concierge Program allows for customization and the ability to incorporate a brand into the gift, and our HarvestClub members have the ability to customize the months they receive their fruit at any time. We have harder-to-find options such as Gluten-Free, Kosher, and Organic gift items as well. Our roots extend back to 1942, when Roy Webster founded Webster Orchards and began delivering extraordinary pears and apples to the Hood River Valley of northern Oregon. Roy’s grandsons, Scott and Addison, grew up in the family business of growing fruit. Their Dad’s love for growing fruit and the family business was an inspiration. After leaving the valley to pursue their academic and professional careers, they returned with the same vision of expanding the Webster Orchard venture. Today The Fruit Company owns over 600 acres of fruit trees and blueberry fields and does much of its business through online orders at thefruitcompany.com, compared to their grandfather’s first mail-order catalog.
