The Guild builds spaces for social change. We bring together diverse changemakers in a co-living environment designed for them to thrive. Our clean, beautiful spaces balance individuality with community. Members have access to private rooms or suites along with thoughtfully designed shared spaces that encourage collaboration. A Guild membership comes with benefits like curated events and programming, a small co-working space, and a network of support. Our breadth of programming empowers our members to be active creators and participants in their community and the world at large. From guest lectures and workshops to community dinners and wellness sessions, our members have access to a wide variety of holistic programming that equips them to thrive and maximize their impact in the world. We are not a property management company, though that is part of what we offer. Our mission is two-fold — one, to create intentional spaces where changemakers can thrive, collaborate with peers, and build community, and two, to reimagine traditional real estate models. What would it look like if changemakers were holistically supported so their work could be amplified? And what would it look like if communities had more ownership in how their neighborhoods and cities developed? Our cities are grappling with affordable housing shortages, gentrification, and displacement of communities of color and low-income residents. These are externalities of Big Development, resulting in an overall loss of community autonomy. We’re exploring the solutions that density-driven and community-centered coliving models could offer. The Guild has raised a pre-seed round of impact investment to continue to create spaces that help changemakers and communities thrive.
