The Lewis Foundation of Classical Ballet is India's leading ballet school , nestled in the south of India, in the cosmopolitan IT capital , Bangalore also known as Bengaluru. We are affiliated to ISTD, UK and teach the Imperial style of ballet from the past decade. Over 1000 students attend our classes around the city. Our headquarters is located in the heart of the city, with the state of the art infrastructure including a full sprung dance studio. We are in a growth phase and want to expand our teaching team to include ballet teachers from around the world who are passionate about ballet , committed to building a career in ballet teaching and want to build the future stars of ballet in India. We are looking for teachers with or without additional experience in designing training modules for advanced training, public relations, fundraising, administration and other management work. We have two requirements. #1 Ballet Teachers (contract starting immediately for a minimum of 1 year) Passionate ballet teachers preferably with ISTD/RAD background who can train and inspire our students, consisting of primarily children and youth. Experience in management and administration or PR will be a big plus. Average teaching hours will be 2-4 hours per day. There will be longer break during Christmas and few days during some major festivals in India. #2 Senior Ballet Teachers for Diploma course (contract starting September 2019 for a minimum of 2-3 years) We are aiming to launch a 3 year Diploma course in 2019, September. We need ballet teachers with experience in management , administrative work, program coordination, designing training modules, public relations & events.
