The Red Lion is the premiere college bar experience on the University of Illinois' campus. The Red Lion has a medieval theme but there is nothing old-fashioned about it. A large rectangular main bar is complimented by a side bar and two outside beer gardens. College students love the bar because of its lively and fierce club-like atmosphere. Over the last 4 years it has dominated the other campus bars in Champaign due to the efforts of staff to ensure safety, while providing an entertaining experience. The Red Lion is growing by the year.
