The Tang is a contemporary Chinese noodle bar nestled in the heart of trendy East Village. We serve noodles, wraps, and appetizers based on traditional recipes originated from various regions in China and present the essence of authentic flavors, together with innovative twists inspired by the big apple’s metropolitan appetite. Our menu features our specialty noodles and wraps, in addition to small plates with the freshest seasonal offerings. We source our ingredients only from the best suppliers. To avoid the starchy taste of regular package noodles, we collaborate with a noodle factory that delivers fresh handmade noodles every day. Our team currently consists of four genuine NYU graduates who carry a diversity of backgrounds but common passion for food. Not backed by any commercial hospitality investment groups, we decided to stand on our own feet and ensure our maximum freedom to develop an establishment that serves soulful, appetizing yet affordable food.
