Dr Haroun Gajraj (FRCS) is a Consultant Vascular Specialist and the founder and director of The VeinCare Centre. He was an NHS consultant vascular surgeon in Somerset. He was trained at St George’s Hospital and St Thomas’s Hospital in London and has treated patients with vein conditions for over 30 years. He has published scientific research on varicose veins and other vein problems. He is a member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, a member of the Venous Forum of the Royal Society of Medicine and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. “I am committed to providing the highest standards of service at The VeinCare Centre and I am supported by a team of doctors, expert vascular ultrasonographers, theatre and clinic staff as well as secretarial and administrative staff. I founded The VeinCare Centre to provide the latest treatment options and the highest standard of care” Dr Gajraj was recently joined by Mr Robin Windhaber (FRCS), a Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon (FRCS) The VeinCare Centre is supported by a team of specialists: Ros English - Clinic Manager and co-ordinator of the Clinical & Administrative activities of the Melbury Vein Clinic Tina McLean - Office Administration Manager Wendy Parsons - Ultrasonographer and Vascular Technologist Emma Davies - Aesthetic Nurse & Specialist Sclerotherapy Practitioner
