Twin Valley Co-op currently has 15 cost centres in 5 western Manitoba communities; Rossburn, Elkhorn, Miniota, Birtle and Russell. For a business to continue to grow and thrive almost 90 years is remarkable! In 2017 over 6,600 members held an equity investment of $18 million. TVC has assets over $40 million. It is remarkable to think that it all started in 1929 with 54 members who paid $10 a share. The initial shareholder's meeting was in a CPR twine car! Their desire to increase buying power and build their community still resonates with today’s members.
