Typhon Treatment Systems Ltd is a UK registered water treatment system manufacturer which was founded in 2014 with the sole aim of developing an LED UV Disinfection System suitable for treating high flow rates. UV-C LED technology is widely acknowledged as the future for UV Disinfection systems removing the traditional constraints of limited lamp life and power costs associated with traditional mercury lamp technology. However, applying LED technology to higher flow rate applications requires a complete deconstruction of traditional UV design principles. Typhon's first UV System was validated according to the USEPA UVDGM in July 2018 and the company continues to operate at the forefront of LED technology.
