United Producers, Inc. serves 30,000 members in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and Pennsylvania. We operate 40 facilities and handle approximately 3 million head of livestock. United Producers, Inc. is and always has been a member-driven livestock cooperative with a rich heritage rooted in helping to create a better quality of life for our members, their families and their communities. Our Heritage United Producers, Inc. took shape in 1999 through the consolidation in operations of Producers Livestock Association (Ohio/Indiana) and MFA Livestock (Missouri). Over the next two years, UPI brought into its’ operations Interstate Producers Livestock Association (Illinois) and the Michigan Livestock Exchange (Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky). Through our original identities we have provided needed livestock services to our farmer members for over 70 years. United Producers Inc operates as a non profit organization. The Organization focuses on advocating for the agriculture industry. United Producers provides livestock marketing, credit and finance services, risk management, and government affairs. Agricultural producers unite is the rallying cry at this co-op. United Producers is an livestock cooperative that offers marketing, financing, and credit services to its member ranchers and farmers. It also provides risk management and production management services. The co-op has some 45,000 members in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Missouri. All total, it operates more than 40 facilities and handles some 3 million head of livestock. In addition, it maintains a loan portfolio of more than $50 million. United Producers was founded in 1999 through the consolidation of Producers Livestock Association (Ohio/Indiana) and MFA Livestock (Missouri).
